Updated: Jun 27, 2019
A life of music
Just after graduating Matt Darey got his first major record deal, signed by Industry legend Seymour Stein of Warner Brothers label Sire Records, the same man that discovered Madonna and Talking Heads. From that moment on Matt has been producing electronic music of many different styles as the genre has evolved. 25 years on after producing club hits under aliases Lost Tribe and Li Kwan, both names that still resonate today with the next generation of music lovers, Matt has decided to release the complete collection of his life's work. There is a twist! Many of Matt's finest works have never been officially released, for example, his forward thinking Rocktronica album by "Urban Astronauts" project was tied up in legal difficulties for a decade and will form part of the album along with many other unreleased gems. That is not all. Matt has already started the mammoth task of reproducing many of his classic works in the future format for music, 3D audio aka Dolby Atmos. Taking the past forward into the future and proving that it will be possible to rejuvenate many timeless classics which will be a god send for the music industry being able to re-release music in a new format.
Retrospective album launch London
To celebrate the occasion, Matt will launch the album in his home city of London on the rover Thames with an epic length open to close performance with live guests. Sailing aboard the Jewel of London past London's most Iconic land marks, Westminster, The Millennium Wheel, The Tower of London, St Pauls Cathedral, Tower Bride, Greenwich University and many more.
