A life of music
Just after graduating Matt Darey got his first major record deal, signed by Industry legend Seymour Stein of Warner Brothers label Sire Records, the same man that discovered Madonna and Talking Heads. From that moment on Matt has been producing electronic music of many different styles as the genre has evolved. 25 years on after producing club hits under aliases Lost Tribe and Li Kwan, both names that still resonate today with the next generation of music lovers, Matt has decided to release the complete collection of his life's work. There is a twist! Many of Matt's finest works have never been officially released, for example, his forward thinking Rocktronica album by "Urban Astronauts" project was tied up in legal difficulties for a decade and will form part of the album along with many other unreleased gems. That is not all. Matt has already started the mammoth task of reproducing many of his classic works in the future format for music, 3D audio aka Dolby Atmos. Taking the past forward into the future and proving that it will be possible to rejuvenate many timeless classics which will be a god send for the music industry being able to re-release music in a new format.
Retrospective album launch London
To celebrate the occasion, Matt will launch the album in his home city of London on the rover Thames with an epic length open to close performance with live guests. Sailing aboard the Jewel of London past London's most Iconic land marks, Westminster, The Millennium Wheel, The Tower of London, St Pauls Cathedral, Tower Bride, Greenwich University and many more.
Retrospective album launch & Birthday party Liverpool
Later in the year and to celebrate the completion of Retrospective in 3D and his birthday, Matt will be celebrating in the north of England with a big room event in Liverpool spinning an open to close 6 hour set of all his classics and the tracks that influenced a generation of electronic music lovers.

Excellent retrospective! Reflecting on past experiences, achievements, and lessons learned is a powerful way to gain perspective and continue growing. I appreciate the honesty and depth shared throughout this post. The ability to learn from the past while staying focused on future goals is a quality that drives long-term success. Meaningful content like this creates genuine engagement and valuable conversations, which is something businesses also strive for when investing in the best digital marketing services. Thank you for sharing these thoughtful reflections and insights.
Interestingly, the evolution of electronic music over the past 25 years is not just a story of sound—it is also a story of precision, layering, and transformation. Producers constantly experiment with frequencies, textures, and timing to create something balanced and memorable. In many ways, modern food science follows a similar philosophy, where small changes in composition can dramatically influence the final experience of a product. Just as a music producer fine-tunes a track for clarity and harmony, food technologists carefully select sugar types to achieve stability, texture, and taste consistency.
In modern food processing, understanding sugar chemistry is essential for developing high-quality products. One widely used ingredient is powdered sucrose, which is simply finely milled sucrose designed for quick dissolution.…
Interestingly, just as electronic music has evolved over the last 25 years—layering rhythm, innovation, and technology into something entirely transformative—modern business finance has followed a similar path of evolution. What once relied heavily on manual processes and rigid structures has now shifted into a more dynamic, digital-first ecosystem where agility, intelligence, and scalability define success.
In many ways, the retrospective on electronic music highlights a broader truth about all modern industries: systems thrive when they adapt, remix traditional models, and integrate smarter tools. This is exactly what is happening in finance today, where companies are moving beyond conventional accounting setups and embracing flexible, insight-driven financial leadership.
One of the most significant shifts in this space is the rise of virtual…
